1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the rental of our holiday cottages. By using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website.
2. Booking and Payment
To secure a booking, a deposit of 25% of the total rental fee is required. The balance of the rental fee is due 8 weeks before the arrival date. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the arrival date will receive a full refund minus a small administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 8 weeks before the arrival date will only receive a refund if we are able to rebook the cottage for the same period.
4. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in time is after 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out time is by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Use of Property
The property shall not be used for any purposes other than as a vacation rental for the accommodation of the person or persons stipulated in the booking form. Subletting or assignation of the property is prohibited.
6. Liability
Quinta do Vale Formoso shall not be liable for any loss or damage to personal items or for any personal accident or injury. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure they have adequate insurance coverage.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Quinta do Vale Formoso reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will be posted on this page.
